Introducing

Hello, my name is Maria Magdalena, known as Marcel Mosswood is Second Life. I manage two art galleries in Second Life, here are the LMs:

Art shop gallery (you can buy artworks here):  http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Chilbo/239/205/109

Art gallery for 2D and 3D artworks: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Cape%20Heron/142/9/23

I established the galleries a year ago when I back to SL after a long period absent. So, why I decided to open art galleries in Second Life? I see that nowadays people in Second Life are more appreciate artworks if compared to a few years ago. The number of artists who bring their artworks from real life to Second Life is increased and more diverse in genre. This is what made me think of joining the art world in Second Life.

In addition, we have limitations in participating in exhibitions in real life because we have to bring the paintings to the city by the waterway. Second Life is an option to better introduce our artworks to the world.

For now, we are happy to welcome you to our galleries. Enjoy our works, and don't hesitate to contact me if you want to discuss or collaborate in art exhibitions.

One Billion Rising, 14 February 2019

When one billion humans join the same mission: Rise! Resist! Unite! That's One Billion Rising in SL . I'm so glad that I can join the movement this year (and I would like to join again the next year!). The event held on 14 February 2019 at the  http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/OBR%20Rise/51/79/23 It's a one-day event, so if you want to be there, now is your time! (Photo credit: Marcel Mosswood) Fight for women and children has become my mission because women and children often used to satisfy the passion of power by man. When I found out about One Billion Rising from Facebook, I thought it will be a good event to unite and fight together. And yes it's true, there was a lot of artworks that will raise the enthusiasm to fight together for women here. I hope that this event will make people see and support the mission so that many people will rise and unite, to resist the violence against women. My Participation At The 14th Raglan Shire Artwalk

The 14th Raglan Shire Artwalk is my first participation at the legendary artwalk in Second Life. I'm so impressed with the artwalk, cause it is the biggest art exhibition in SL which has more than 175 artists with about 10 artworks each artist! I'm very proud to be the part of the exhibition. So, here is my participation: The above video is my 3D, you can find it here:  http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Morning%20Shire/204/202/21 Here I try to convey that human are woven from cells that blend to form their physical strengths or weaknesses. The weaving is what determines our weaknesses and strengths. Sports, nutritious food, relaxation, happiness are things that form strength. So it's up to you, whether to form strengths or weaknesses. And here are my 2D artworks you can find them here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Raglan%20Shire/165/50/83 My paintings  Sebastian's paintings (he has only 3, cause at the same time he participate at th...
